Overview

BA (Hons) Business Administration

The course is designed to provide students with a thorough knowledge of the changing needs of the dynamic international business environment as well as the competitive global markets. This course also aims to develop students’ intellectual and quantitative skills in the understanding and analysis of international business issues. Specialization in International Business will also enable students to study a number of leading edge business subjects as well as allowing them to explore innovative and contemporary themes relevant to the modern day global business environment. The skills students acquire from this degree will enhance their learning skills and personal development so that they can make a positive contribution to the business world and society.

Entry Requirements

Bachelor's Degree Track

Academic Level

  • NEB +2 overall aggregate of 2.2 CGPA (55%) or above with each subject (theory and practical) grade D+ or above, and SEE Mathematics score of C+ (50%) or above.
  • For A-Levels, a minimum of 3.5 credits and atleast a grade of D and above.

English Proficiency

  • English NEB XII grade B (60%) or above

      For Level 4 or Year 1 BIT

    • Pass in General Paper or English Language or IELTS 5.5 or PTE 47/ Meeting UCAS Tariff points of 80.

      For Level 4 or Year 1 BBA

    • Pass in General Paper or English Language or IELTS 5.5 or PTE 47/ Meeting UCAS Tariff points of 96.
Students not meeting the aforementioned criterias will have to pursue the University Foundation Course. It is a one-year academic programme of the London Metropolitian University, UK, designed to fulfill undergraduate admission requirements.

 

University Foundation Certificate Entry Requirements

Academic Level

  • Completion of NEB +2 Qualification with an aggregate of 1.8 CGPA (45%) or above with each subject (theory and practical) grade D+ or above, and SEE Mathematics grade of C or above.
  • For A-Levels, a minimum of 3.5 credits, a grade of E and above meeting UCAS Tariff points of 32.

English Proficiency

  • English NEB XII grade C or 1.8 GPA.
  • Pass in General Paper or English at A or AS Levels.

Applicants who do not meet the aforementioned English requirements can substitute with the following standardised English Tests:

  • IELTS overall band 4.5 with minimum 4.5 in each band.
  • Pearson Test of English (PTE) Score above 34.

Semester 1

  • Academic English for Undergraduate Study | 30 Credits
  • Undergraduate Study and Research Skills | 30 Credits
  • Foundational Mathematics | 15 Credits
  • Introduction to IT | 15 Credits

Semester 2

  • Academic English for Undergraduate Study | 30 Credits

  • Introduction to Business | 15 Credits

All other qualifications are revaluated on a case-by-case basis by London Metropolitan University
