Overview
The complexity of networking and the severity of security challenges the world faces today require a background comprised of multiple courses from fundamentals to integrated topics. This program gives students an extensive grounding in traditional network and security protocols, as well as preparation for technologies such as wired and wireless networking, VOIP, virtualization and others only now emerging. London Metropolitan University is a certified Cisco Academy, and one of the very few places in the UK which has been certified by Cisco Systems to provide both CCNA and CCNP training. This will put our graduates ahead by having some of the most sought-after professional qualifications in the industry.

Entry Requirements
Bachelor's Degree Track
- NEB 10+2 overall aggregate of 2.2 CGPA (55%) or above, Year 12 English grade 'B' (60%) or above, and SLC Mathematics score of 50% above with each subject theory and practical grade D+ or above or
- 2 ‘A’ Level passes with minimum grades A to C or 3 ‘A’ Level passes with minimum grades D and above; and General Paper (A or AS Level) or English (A or AS Level) with Grade E and above.
Applicants who do not meet the above mentioned English requirements can substitute with the following English Tests: IELTS 5.5 and above (minimum score of 5.5 in each component) or Pearson Test of English Score above 47.
University Foundation Certificate Entry Requirements
- NEB 10+2 overall aggregate of 1.8 CGPA (45%) or above, Year 12 English grade 'C' (45%) or above, and SLC Mathematics score of 50% above with each subject theory and practical grade 'D+' or above or
- 2 ‘A’ level subject passes, and a pass in General Paper (A or AS Level) or English (A or AS Level) with Grade E and above.
Applicants who do not meet the above mentioned English requirements can substitute with the following English Tests: IELTS 4.5 and above or Pearson Test of English Score above 37.
Semester 1
- Academic English for Undergraduate Study: 30 Credits
- Undergraduate Study and Research Skills: 30 Credits
- Foundational Mathematics: 15 Credits
- Introducation to IT: 15 Credits
Semester 2
- Academic English for Undergraduate Study: 30 Credits
- Undergraduate Study and Research Skills: 30 Credits
- Foundational Statistics: 15 Credits
- Introduction to Business: 15 Credits
All other qualifications are revaluated on a case-by-case basis by London Metropolitan University
