London Metropolitan University: One of the Largest University in London
London Metropolitan University is one of the largest universities in London serving more than 28,000 students. With buildings spread throughout the centre of London and around 6,000 overseas students from more than 155 different countries, LondonMet is one of the foremost providers of undergraduate, postgraduate, professional and vocational education in London, UK, and the world.
LondonMet received the highest accolade in the UK Quality Assurance Agency (QAA) review published on the 15th of April 2011. This places the university alongside the highest ranked universities in the UK with regards to its management of academic standards, learning opportunities, quality enhancement, collaborative taught provision and postgraduate research.
Specifically, LondonMet's Faculty of Computing provides an extensive range of undergraduate and postgraduate courses. These include computer networking, information security, electronic engineering, mathematics and statistics, a suite of computing and business systems courses, computer animation, games and multimedia. At the last QAA Subject Review of Computing, the Faculty's learning resources, and teaching and learning standards, were described as commendable. The Faculty is also a British Computer Society (BCS) Educational Affiliate Member.
